Mark Zarkhin brings more than two decades of experience in fixed-income portfolio management, with a focus on mortgage markets, interest rates, and investment-grade securitized credit. Before founding Jaffa, he served as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Millennium Management and previously led the Global Securitized Markets proprietary trading business at Citi. His investment approach emphasizes fundamental research, capital preservation, and asset-liability alignment.

Education: B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with honors.

Nathan Lord brings over two decades of experience in insurance underwriting, actuarial analysis, and reinsurance. Before joining Jaffa, he held senior leadership roles at AIG, where he led underwriting and actuarial teams across multiple lines of business. Earlier in his career, he worked at the National Council on Compensation Insurance, where he helped introduce advanced statistical methods to insurance risk analysis.

Nathan earned a B.S. and an M.S. in Mathematics from the University of Florida.

Jack Brown brings over two decades of experience in financial management and operational leadership across private equity, alternative asset management, and public-company environments. As Chief Financial Officer of Jaffa, he oversees the firm’s financial operations, reporting, controls, and related infrastructure. His background includes senior finance roles focused on financial reporting, internal controls, valuation, audit, and operational oversight.

Jack earned an MBA with a concentration in Finance from John Carroll University. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a CFA charter holder.

Edward Davis brings over three decades of experience across portfolio accounting, performance reporting, and back-office operations.

Edward Davis brings extensive financial-services experience across portfolio accounting, performance reporting, brokerage operations, and financial technology platforms. He has held senior roles at Broadridge Financial Solutions, Barclays Capital, Lehman Brothers, and SG Cowen, with responsibilities spanning client reporting, portfolio accounting, operational controls, system conversions, and reporting-platform implementation.

His background supports Jaffa’s focus on disciplined reporting, process reliability, and institutional operating infrastructure.

Chris Laws brings over two decades of experience in insurance operations, actuarial science, pricing, reserving, and data analytics. Before joining Jaffa, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Actuary at Employers Insurance Company, where he oversaw pricing, reserving, and digital-transformation initiatives for the company’s national book of business. Earlier in his career, he held senior actuarial roles at AIG, including Chief Actuarial Administration Officer.

Chris earned a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Florida, where he was co-valedictorian. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

David White brings eighteen years of experience in insurance operations, actuarial modeling, asset-liability management, and technology. Before joining Jaffa, he worked at New York Life, where he led actuarial modeling, experience studies, and asset-liability management for the long-term care strategic business unit. Before entering the insurance industry, he served in the United States Navy.

David earned an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas, with honors, and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst.

Olga Golod is an actuarial executive with experience across property and casualty insurance, specialty and casualty pricing, program business, and assumed reinsurance. She previously held actuarial leadership roles at QBE Reinsurance and QBE North America, covering lines including directors and officers liability, professional liability, cyber, medical stop loss, commercial auto, general liability, and program business. Her prior experience also includes roles at Clarendon and Praetorian, Converium North America, Zurich Reinsurance, Sorema, and Insurance Services Office.

Olga is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Vicky Mayen brings more than 20 years of experience in property and casualty insurance, with particular expertise in workers’ compensation, reserving, and pricing strategy. She previously served as Vice President, Actuarial and Vice President, Reserving at Employers Insurance Group, where she led actuarial teams and served as Appointed Actuary for a workers’ compensation insurer. Her experience includes reserve analysis, pricing strategy, reinsurance evaluation, regulatory rate filings, and presentations to executive leadership, board audit committees, auditors, and consultants. She also served as Director and Actuary at the National Council on Compensation Insurance.

Vicky is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and an Associate in Insurance Data Analytics.
